Terms of service

Provider: VendPoint.

1. The service

VendPoint provides point-of-sale software for Android devices and a web portal ("the service") to businesses ("you") on a subscription.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the people you give access to, for keeping passwords secret, and for the accuracy of the information you enter, including prices, taxes and exchange rates.

3. Trial, fees and payment

New businesses get a free trial. After it, the plan you choose is invoiced monthly or annually in advance. If an invoice is not paid by its due date there is a grace period; after it your business becomes read-only until you pay. We do not delete your data because of non-payment.

4. Your data

Your business data belongs to you. We process it to provide the service as described in our privacy policy. You can export your reports at any time.

5. Tax and fiscalisation

You remain responsible for your tax obligations. Where you switch on ZIMRA fiscalisation, the service submits your receipts to ZIMRA on your behalf as configured.

6. Availability

Tills keep working without a connection, but the portal and syncing depend on our servers and your internet connection. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim.

8. Ending the service

You can cancel at any time; the service runs to the end of the period paid for. We may suspend a business that breaks these terms.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
